Ashoka & Bairath

We all know Ashoka as the decendant of Mauryas, the king who went from being on a violent expansion spree to a peaceful, just and loved emperor in the ancient history of India. We know he was gravely disturbed and depressed with the guilt of killing millions after the Kaling war. We also know he adopted and propagated the teachings of Buddha. What we don’t know is the how and the where.
