Q. Are donations exempt from taxes?

A. Yes – all donations are 50% exempt from tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Tax exemption is valid only in India.

Q. What are the alternative methods of donation?

A. We have an integrated gateway to accept credit/debit card based donations. A QR-code for UPI based payments is also available. Cheque based donations can be made at the registered office.

Q. How can I get the tax exemption certificate for my donation?

A. We will send across your donation receipt either by email or on your address – this receipt is eligible for tax exemption and can be shared with the Income Tax authorities.

1. Any person above the age of eighteen (18) years can make donations in Indian (INR) currency.

2. Users must provide their name, address, contact number, email address, and PAN number or Aadhaar Number before making the donation. This information will be used to process users’ donation. It is the users’ responsibility to provide correct information.

3. Donations cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

4. Donation does not entitle the users to any goods, services, positions or any other consideration.

5. Unless the purpose of the donation is specified by the user, donation received through this website will be used at its discretion but within its stated charitable objectives.

6. Donation is eligible for tax deduction benefits under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.
